What is Natural Deodorant?

Using the power of plants, Clinical Aromatherapist Kathryn McIntosh has formulated this completely natural deodorant. Using the deodorant properties of coconut oil, arrowroot, bicarbonate of soda and delicate blend of essential oils.

How do I use Natural Deodorant?

Scoop a pea sized amount from the tin and apply to the underarm. Massage in until it melts. Repeat for the other arm - and that's it! Easy! 

Our customers love that the deodorant melts completely, so no weird marks on your clothes.

We recommend using a nice natural soap when washing - your pits don't need anything else.

Does it work?!

YES! We have been testing this Natural Deodorant recipe for years. It has performed perfectly in hot countries all over the world, in sweaty spin classes, all day hikes and even in full PPE on hospital wards. 

At re:treat Apothecary we aim to create beautiful, effective products. We continually tweak, test and trial to improve our recipes.


I am vegan. Is Natural Deodorant suitable for me?

Yes. All re:treat Apothecary products are vegan. Our products and their ingredients are never ever tested on animals.

Help! My Deodorant has turned soft!

Fear not! Pop it in the fridge for a few minutes and it will harden again. The Natural Deodorant contains organic coconut oil which melts at 24 degrees centigrade.

If you are lucky enough to live somewhere hot you may want to store your tin in the fridge.

If you live in chilly Scotland you may need to warm the deodorant in your hands before applying.


Why does the Natural Deodorant come in a tin?

We chose aluminium tins as they are easily recyclable, light weight and best of all - completely plastic free! 

We now offer a refill service for all our products at selected stockists. This means your tin can be refilled, reused and reloved for years to come. 


What about the rest of the packaging?

Great question! At re:treat Apothecary we have worked hard to source recycled paper and paper tape to package our products. The paper is easily reusable and recyclable. The labels on our tins are made from recycled paper.

Our products are completely plastic-free, always.


So re:treat Apothecary are into recycling?!

We are, sometimes! Before recycling we try to reduce, reuse and repair. At re:treat Apothecary we believe in living in harmony with our planet and it's resources.
