A shampoo bar is an eco-friendly alternative to traditional bottled shampoo. Using the same high quality ingredients as salon shampoo, by removing the water we create a longer lasting solid shampoo bar.

Great question! Our shampoo is not a soap instead it contains plant based surfactants to gently cleanse hair. We also add indulgent conditioning ingredients for strong, healthy hair - organic virgin coconut oil, organic virgin shea butter, Scottish seaweed and vegan Pro Vitamin B5.
How do I use the Scottish Seaweed Shampoo Bar?
It's easy...thoroughly wet hair, run the bar over the length of wet hair. Use fingertips to work into a bubbly lather ensuring the hair is fully covered. Rinse, repeat if required. Follow with your favourite conditioner and re:treat Apothecary Natural Hair Oil.

Absolutely! A little of the Scottish Seaweed Shampoo Bar goes a long way, so you don't need much to create a lovely bubbly lather.
How do I store it?
The Scottish Seaweed Shampoo Bar will dilute in water, so please store in a dry area of the bathroom on a dry soap dish or rack. This will keep your shampoo bar in tip top condition.
How long does it last?
It is estimated 1-3g of shampoo bar are used for each hair wash, so your 60g Scottish Seaweed Shampoo Bar will last 20-60 washes depending how long and thick your hair is.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes the whole family can enjoy using the shampoo bar, it is gentle enough for all hair types.
Is there a transition period?
No, we create a PH balanced bar using plant based surfactants, it is ready to use on your hair as you would any other shampoo.
